Scanelec was founded on 1 September 1984 under the name Scandinavian Electro Trading.
For more than 35 years, Scanelec has delivered products and services customised to a continuously changing market. Power rails have been a key product since the very start, and engineering and sale of power rail solutions has been Scanelec’s primary area of activity since 2007.
We have accumulated a strong base of experience and expertise of engineering and deliveries of power rail solutions within all our market segments. As a partner, we can provide our customers with consultation, engineering and assembly support.
The organisation in Scandinavia
Scanelec AS has its main office and warehouse in Godvik, Bergen, a departmental office in Son, Vestby municipality and sales offices in Stockholm and Copenhagen.
The company has 10 employees and comprises a sales organisation and a project organisation. All our employees have technical qualifications within electronics. They all also have a certificate of apprenticeship as mechanics and some have completed technical vocational college or an undergraduate programme in engineering.
Our sales organisation is actively involved in activities on all our markets, while the project organisation is responsible for technical follow-up and execution of deliveries throughout Scandinavia.
